Learn Intarsia In Tuscany!
Knitting retreats are always special. They are a time to build new friendships in a community that is centered around the art of making, and they offer us time to travel solo to make new connections, or with family and friends with whom we want to build deeper relationships with and create new memories to look back on. To be able to encourage people to play with colour and free up their design ideas as they relaxed under the Tuscan sun was a dream, so when I was asked to come back to teach in 2025 (30 August-6 September), I jumped at the chance!
The Ideal Knitting Retreat.
After you have landed at Pisa and been picked up from the airport, you arrive at The Watermill, Posara, and experience a place where you can drop your worries and pick up your knitting in the beautiful surroundings of Tuscany. Everything is provided for you, even the train ride trip to Lucca, where you can enjoy exploring the beautiful historic city or eating delicious Italian ice-cream and yarn shops (the only added expense that I had last year!).
It would be lovely to spend time with you this summer for a week of knitting with colour whilst you explore your own designs, and create new memories while we dine on freshly cooked Italian food and wines.
