Caledonia

The design for the pullover was inspired by a trip to Edinburgh and so gets its name, Caledonia, from the old Roman word for Scotland. The Argyle cabled diamond and twisted stitch pattern with the textured pattern conjures up the spirit of the Scotland highlands. The modern shape of the jumper creates a garment that will look at home in the wild highlands as well as in the trendy city.

Caledonia is a slightly cropped pullover with set in sleeves. It is knitted in DK weight Lore from The Fibre Company. The garment is worked flat in pieces: back, front and two sleeves. The pieces are worked from the ribbed bottom edging up. The neckband is picked up from the neck castoff edge and knitted in the round.

Caledonia Jumper was created as a part of the Fibre Company's Yarn support for independent designers.
